A MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc NETwork) radio is a type of decentralized radio that forms a self-organizing, self-healing wireless network without the need for existing infrastructure, where each radio acts as a node and can function as a router to forward data to any other node. These systems enable robust, reliable communication for voice, data, and video by dynamically adjusting routing paths to maintain connectivity, even when nodes are added or lost.

Self-Organizing and Self-Healing:

MANETs can automatically configure and adapt to changes, such as the loss of nodes or the addition of new ones, rerouting data to maintain connectivity.

Dynamic Routing:

Algorithms ensure that data finds the most efficient path to its destination, even if some nodes are unavailable. When a user sends a message or data, it travels from node to node, with routing algorithms dynamically selecting the best path based on network conditions.  

Network Adaptation:

If a node becomes unavailable, the network automatically reconfigures to use alternative paths, ensuring continuous communication.

Robustness:

The decentralized nature of MANETs means there are no single points of failure, making the network highly resistant to disruption.

*Wireless module in photos is a demo module only. I will be keeping the current wireless network module within the IP MANET units under wraps until they ship. 

These units also have the LoRa/GPS radio module running parallel. Platform options will be: Android /Linux /Custom mesh routing firmware default. 

A 6-pin hirose connector added for full PTT functionality, conquering digital delay. If a adapter or cable is necessary for your specific PTT setup I will make sure to provide the solution.

IP68 4-Pin data port for hardwire Ethernet connection to EUD or any network device.  

Im designing custom high gain rugged gooseneck antennas that are bend and stay, they will be included as an early bird perk.

These will be available and shipped summer 2025. Batches will ship weekly.
